Hey all,
I'm new here, just wanted to post my performance of both the stock Verizon/Moto system vs. the CM7.2.0. I used an app called Quadrant (free), and was a little shocked to see that there was only marginal increase in some aspects of it (and even worse in some areas). Any thoughts as to why that is? I have noticed that the overall UI is more smoother and more responsive the stock stuff. I guess the real performance is in the I/O and 2D.

Quadrant and other bench Mark test doesn't truly represent the phone performance, remember the test videos on you tube like phone dog says take this test with a grain of salt, and cm7 by far is much smoother then stock.Roms are usually better then stock.

Any input as to what good benchmarks I could do then?

The only ROM I've used to put out high bench Mark test was molten..it's a fantastic ROM, but I left it due to no hdmi, I'm on Eclipse 1.3 I know there's a newer one I like this one.

What I mean was is what is the best approach for doing some sort of benchmark testing? Is there a good app to use, or tool, or something to use?
