My og Droid is a wifi only device, and I know quite a few of you are in the same boat, a second phone that you use as a wifi only device.
Found this earlier today,a relatively new app called Talkatone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.talkatone.android&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS50Y WxrYXRvbmUuYW5kcm9pZCJd), free in the market (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.talkatone.android&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS50Y WxrYXRvbmUuYW5kcm9pZCJd). It works with your google voice account (if you have one, if not, why not?).

Unlike other apps that require both parties have the app installed, talkatone allows you to make calls to any phone number, landline or cell.
I haven't figured out how to receive calls on my og (yet), so if anyone does try it and get it figured out, post up

second groove IP, not free but great app. Worth the 4-5 bucks, you can find it on sale for 2 bucks fairly regularly.

Groove must be feeling the competition, LOL, they released a free , ad supported version 2 weeks ago. I'm guessing that's when talkatone became available.
I am gonna check it out
