I rooted my droid x using d3 one touch successfully. I was able to install bootstrapper and get super user permission successfully but when I go into reboot recovery when it reboots my phone just shuts off instead of getting to the green screen. PLease help:starstruck:

If you're using DX bootstrapper, you need to uncheck USB debugging

im fairly sure it needs to be installed on the phone. like harley said if you are using dx bootstrap make sure usb debugging is shut off

^do i have to reinstall the app with usb debugging off? The app is on my home screen, it just wonjt let me save it to the sd card in my settings menu and in the apps to sd APP it wont even show up in the menu. why can't I mount the app to the sd card?

You don't have to have debugging turned off to install. It should install like any other app. Bootstrap may have to be in your phone memory which is why you can't move it to sd.

Maybe its because it works like a system app. Some things you can't move to sd card.

StrykedVorteX X makes sense, i think the sd is on the last ini of boot so that would be a problem. i think it hijacks on the 2nd
