View Full Version : Need HELP with Ubuntu on Droid X

i've been trying to run ubuntu on DX using problematic (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/members/174645.html) method HERE (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/128580-run-linux-your-droid-x-2-a.html)... i run every command and script like he did...
i got the ubuntu.img HERE (https://www.ebower.com/docs/droidx-hacking/)
when i type bootubuntu on terminal emulator, i got this message:


$ su
# bootubuntu

Password too short

i don't even get a chance to set a password...

when i type Xvnc -localhost -geometry 854x480 -depth 24 -deferupdate 0, i got this message...

i've tried many ubuntu image... same result...
can someone help me? i really want to run ubuntu on my DX... T_T
or maybe some guide to use Linux Installer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.galoula.LinuxInstall&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nY WxvdWxhLkxpbnV4SW5zdGFsbCJd) on DX
