Everything that works on 602 works on 605. The only difference is a keyboard bug fix.

BH. He's on a Milestone, not a straight DX. I thought there was a different way of doing it for Milestones.

The only difference between a milestone and a regular X is the carrier. We went through a massive discussion on this with another guy hahaha, got way out of hand too hah
Now if the carrier updates the phone that's their own business. But since its in 602 it should be just like our phone. Which means the exploit should work. But I've never heard of the carrier so maybe they updated it to 602 prior to us getting 602. A milestone is a tricky phone.

Haha I had no idea either. Cory went ham one day and brought out tons of info and literally the only difference is the carrier haha.

I'm hoping that with the amount of people asking for a root someone will find one but I will keep looking one will pop up later

There are people looking however exploits are crazy hard. It took weeks to get GB root.
And it took 3 weeks to get root when the phone to come out. That's with all the development in the world.

I'm just worried since the DX is an older phone everybody has dropped it and moved on I tell u one thing everybody should donate to these people because I'm sure it takes up a lot of time and to do it for free. I bought something for my liberty toolbox that I really didn't need or use I just wanted to help out a little I enjoy updates and new roms plus the ability to root phones

Your probably right about devs moving on. I hope 621 gets rooted for the ones who took the update but I don't see any roms being updated or made for it. Maybe once its rooted you can revert back to 602/605. It would suck to be stuck on just one version.

If your on 621 and you try to restore back ups from 340/602/605 you will brick your phone. Once your on 621 your there until a exploit is figured out.
