I searched for Droid X battery charger in Amazon's search and this item came up as number one and stated that it worked with Motorola's battery families. But when I got it my battery for my Droid X doesn't come close to fitting. Please put a better description on this product to save someone else the hassle.

this is what i ended up ordering from ebay

That's odd, it says September 30, 2010 so I must have my reviews sorted from latest to oldest. Anyway, I ended up ordering this one below right after I posted that and I must say, I'm totally happy with it. With the extra BH5X I got at the same time for $3, I'm never in danger of a dead phone because I've always got an extra full battery with me. I'd suggest others spend an extra $15 or so and buy this charger and an extra battery. No more having screen on dim and watching my usage to try and save my battery. My battery drainage issues are no more thanks to this charger and the extra battery. I've gotta say, I patted myself on the back after I made these two purchases lol.

I got an external charger from eBay. Its a cheapo, but it works great and takes the worrying out of bricking your phone

Looks like the exact same one. I bought an extended battery and they threw it in for free.

When Sprint announced their first ever 4G handset at CTIA in March 2010, they dropped a bombshell on the mobile world. The HTC Evo 4G is a device that introduces a lot of firsts when compared to other North American handsets.
