I messed up my phone trying to get to miui. I have the error in the title, and for the life of me I cannot fix it. I've flashed all the full SBF's I could find to no avail. I've searched high and low for a solution, going through TBH and all that fun stuff. I'm using RSDLite 5.4.4. I've done simple things like reboot my computer. Nothing. Please help!

If RSD isn't working, give this method a shot

I don't see a method. Are you talking about your signature?

Yeah...I posted the wrong link and had to edit it out then go grab the right one. It's the same as in my signature

I have used this process before successfully with virtualbox. I remember having to do these in order though, and cant seem to find that thread. Is this true?

Having to do the SBFs in order? If that's what you mean, nope. You can flash 602 or 340 back and forth all you want, as the bootloader is the same.

Running through it again.

Just remember to let the phone reboot after the SBF on its own and let it try and boot up. Chances are you'll bootloop, if you do just pull the battery, then reinsert it. Hold power and home until you see an android inside a triangle, then push both volume keys (if you SBFed to 602) or the search key (If used the 340 file), scroll to wipe data/factory reset and select with the power key (602) or camera key (340)

The 602 threw some kind of error. Trying the .596

Droid X Found.
>> Uploading RDL03
Uploading: 100% OK
>> Verifying ramloader
-- OK
>> Executing ramloader
Droid X Found.
>> Sending Erase

Are you still trying it in a VM? Try actually booting the image instead of the
VM.

Tried 1KDStaz0.9 and 1KDStaz0.9_4.5.596. No errors this time, but phone status hasn't changed at all. Error still the same.

Are you using the stock Moto USB cable?

No, I don't own a stock moto USB cable. I bought my phone off craigslist and it came with an HTC charger and cable. Would that matter?

I will look around and see if I can't find a stock cable. I've SBF'ed successfully before with that very same cable.

I'll also try whatever cable I can find. In the meanwhile, is there any other ideas?

Edit: I've searched everywhere, I can't find a stock one.

Well, you may have flashed with that cable before but if your DX was operable the flash may not have been complete and you didn't know. I really think if you get a good cable you should be able to fix it. Check with your local VZW, they may have one, I would *guess* that a DX2, Bionic or RAZR cable would suffice.

Also, in the mean time I would keep the battery out to be sure you have enough juice to flash later, it won't charge when stuck in the bootloader.

So, all you're wanting me to do right now is get a good cable? There's no other options?

You've tried multiple methods, all of which have worked for the vast majority of people. There really isn't much to do other than try a official Moto cable

Alright, I'll focus on quality of signal in the cable. I was using a 4 way splitter for my USB becuase I have a few external drives, bluetooth, wireless mouse, etc. I've since plugged in directly an attempting again. It does seem as if it's going much slower then before being plugged in through the splitter. Thanks. I'll let you know what happens.

I found a pretty heavy duty LG USB cable. It's still having problems.

I've gotten a different error now. It's showing err: a5, 70, 70, 00, 00. Is that progress?

Alright, I just flashed the same image over and over for most of the day and I finally got it working with a netlos image. Not touching it anymore.

One last thing, I think when I was using the USB sable hack to charge it while I was doing all this I think I messed up my battery. It has a question mark at the top and when I plug it in it's saying invalid battery.

From what I heard, once you're on .621, you can't sbf back to .602

yes, there is a 621 SBF floating around here somewhere, but you won't be able to root it. I'll see if I can find it.
The other option is to SBF to 604, a milestone version that can be rooted, SBF and instructions here http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-sbf/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html

Yes, right now if you want to get root, you need to go to .604, it's real easy just go here and read and follow the instructions, it's done using linux but it is simple good luck

Hello, I Also I have the problem with the bootloader I get:

Bootloader
30.04
Err:A5,70,70,00,1F

MEM_MAP Blank
Service Reg'd
Battery OK
Ok to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB

The initial problem was to try to change the rom, but when you restart the phone was left in the M logo, I read that if the SBF flasheaba again resolved the problem, but now I have this error, and use the methods mentioned here and that none has worked.

Looks like you used the wrong SBF file, who is your carrier?

Hello, I want to comment out the error and achieve the bootloader, which I did was flash the SBF from here: [SBF and Update] Original Gingergread 2.3.4 SBF for Droid X MB810 Verizon USA - xda-developers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517985)

But even if the phone does not pass the M logo, try to enter recovery mode but I can to make the combination of keys are left in the triangle with the android, I do not see the recovery menu, it could put the recovery through ADB or something similar.

At the droid/triangle screen press both volume buttons at the same time.
