I rooted my Droid X when I got it in Oct. 2011. Lately I noticed none of my rooted apps seem to be working anymore. The notification no longer comes up and asks me whether I want to give any apps permission, they say they need su or root access and exit. The permission list in Superuser is blank. So today I tried rerooting with Motorola One Click. The program says I am rooted but the apps' lack of permissions tells me otherwise. I've flashed Clockwork Mod recovery to the latest version if that makes a difference as well. When I try to update the su in superuser it just says it failed getting root permissions.

Now when I do root, my phone reboots into the bootloader and I have to unplug and restart the phone then plug the cable in, the program doesn't have a problem with this but could it be the problem? All help is appreciated.

Go into superuser and make sure its giving root permission to all the apps.

I just rerooted with "Pete's Motorola Root Tools". Rebooted and its rooted and asking for permissions flawlessly. Thank you though BHuber :)
