I just flashed CM4DX-GB 2012-1-21 build after standard factory reset/wipe cache. Was on Liberty 3 v2 with .602 kernel. On first boot it will not get past the Google logo. I may not have given it enough time, but it has been about five minutes at that screen. Is it still possible to SBF this or is it dead bricked?

Edit:
Managed to get into recovery and do factory reset/wipe cache, but it doesn't seem to have done anything... :/

Don't know where you went wrong but it should have installed just fine on top of liberty 3 if you did all your wipes. Since you were able to get in recovery and wiped data again which didn't help go ahead and sbf

Yeah not sure what happened, I'm gonna go ahead and sbf. Was I suppose to flash gapps after flashing CM4DX (kinda left that out...oops), because I did in the same recovery session. I have a feeling that's what got me. Thanks!

Yes you should flash the gapps right after you flash the rom in the same session. You said you tried installing build 1/21 did you mean 1/20r1? The newest build is 1/22.
Is this where you got it from? http://rootzwiki.com/topic/10191-updated-info-on-revnumbers-cm4dx-gb/

That's where I got it and it is 1/22, mistyped it. I wasn't sure which gapps to use so I got the most recent non-ICS one

Well I SBF'd to .602 and reflashed the proper zips with proper factory reset and wiping, but it now seems to be stuck at the red Motorola logo...my X just doesn't like CM7...

Hmm if you downloaded this zip http://goo-inside.me/roms/RandPooka/Pooka-CM4DX-GB-20120122.zip and checked to make sure the md5 matched and used the gapps link i gave you it should of worked fine. I assume you used droid2 bootstrap and wiped data, cache partition and davlik cache then flashed the rom zip followed by the gapps zip.

Definitely check the md5. I bricked the other day flashing a newer CM7 build, which was annoying, since I haven't had to in months. But these new builds are amazing. I'm on the 1/22 build and its very fast and smooth. A noticeable difference from the December builds and prior.

X

Got it all working with the files you provided, thanks for all the help! The battery seems less than Liberty, but I love the level of customization!
