I have a rooted DX and attempted to install the Liberty Rom. When I try to reboot, the gray Motorola logo will pop up for a second then disappear. I can't access the SD card or anything. I've gone into the Android System Recovery and did a date/factory reset and I also wiped the cache. Nothing is working. I had Android v.2.2.1 before installing Liberty.

At the bottom of the recovery screen I get the following message:
"Cant open/cache/recovery/command"

Just to clarify, you have a Droid X and not a Droid X2, right? I ask because I want to make sure you used the correct sbf file...

If you haven't already, read up on how to sbf... And keep your battery charged.

I have the DX2; I'm bootlooped on my buddie's DX though. I'm charging the battery now via a wall-plugin. I had it plugged into to my computer's USB.

I after I SBFed I booted into up just fine. It was after I loaded the Liberty ROM that I went into loop. I just put my fresh battery into the looped phone and I get the same results.

What version of liberty was it that you loaded? And after the sbf you wiped data/cache and its still lopping? What sbf was it?

I as able to get to the Bootloader (v30.04) screen. I then SBFed back to the Full 2.3.32 SBF. I rerooted and tried to load the Liberty3X-2.0Gold ROM. I again get stuck at the Bootload 30.04 screen. Is the bootloader the problem? Is there a workaround for this?

You need to be on gingerbread. You're trying to install from froyo by the sounds of it.

Use the .602 sbf, then you need the 1-click root .. http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/gingerbread-development-hacking/35634-gb-602-root-start-here-links-all.html
d2 bootstrap to flash cwr..
