I would seriously appreciate some help DXForums !! Or any advice!!

So the background story: My 3g on DX stopped working for a while, so verizon sent me a replacement.

I was running cyanogen mod, so I wanted to SBF back to stock before returning it.

Unfortunatly, somehow I made a huge mistake along the way. I downloaded the drivers, rsd lite and the sbf.
I read some instructions online and it said to boot into recovery before plugging in for rsd..so for some reason I downloaded bootstrap for droid x and flashed recovery and then booted into recovery.

thats where everything went wrong. It went black then booted up to the motorola symbol and just stays there. No indication of going forward...

Im really stuck here because verizon wants the original phone back and I dont think I can send it like this... and the battery will run out eventually!

I tried to use regular recovery keys > holding home and power > I cleared cache and wiped data but it didnt do anything.

ANYONE have advice?? I need help ASAP! THANK YOU!!!

Edit: I tried to plug it in through USB for RSD but there is no detection of the device at all!! :(

Was your phone in bootloader mode? White text black screen? (Pull battery then replace and while powering on hold camera+ volume down button + power screen will flicker release the buttons and your there)

If it was and your still getting the problems with recognition try this

when I hold power + volume + home it goes to a little android guy with a ! above him in a triangle. When you press search it says android system recovery > and gives reboot - sd card update - wipe data - and wipe data options.

is that what u are talking about? It isnt white text with black screen, it is blue text. At the bottom in yellow it says : E: can't open /cache/recovery/command

Well your bootloader 30.03 so you should use rsd lite and use the 2.315 or .320 sbf first

Ok I guess im goin for the linux SBF!

Quick Question >> Should I use download

if im on 30.04 bootloader coming from Cyanogen

Do the linux. RSD can work, but you see the issues you're dealing with. You won't any more once you burn that disc.

You got that from the 1kds link here? If so yes. Most will say to go with the 602 disc, which is fine. I just prefer the froyo disc. It will take you a bit to burn it, but well worth it's weight in gold.
