I have a Motorola Milestone X .. Alltel is my carrier. The 2.3.5 update was available, so I upgraded to it.. Little did i know, i didn't like it. My battery died MUCH faster and it made the keyboard smaller. I tried to sbf it back to android 2.2 but I think it's bricked. /: It just shows the bootloader screen and some writing . Can someone PLEASE help me or give me the 2.3.5 sbf file ro tell me when it will be available? Your help would be appreciated !!!!

Check my thread it's under this one, the older sbf doesn't work you will need an exact 2.3.5 in order to recover. Not sure about alltel but go back to the store and inform them the updated killed your phone. I have nTelos and they replaced the phone without question. Someone made mention in my thread of a Verizon sbf but I was unable to find one that would flash, if you do find a Verizon sbf that works use sbf flash for linux so the baseband doesn't get updated to Verizon's network then skip the activation.

Let us know your results because I would love to get back on custom roms.

^What he said^
sbf_flash won't override your radio so in theory you should be able to use a VZW SBF

I sent my phone into Motorola, and they sent me a new one.

Just a word of caution, please be careful before flashing ANYTHING on ANY Regional carrier. All though it's only a matter of time before sbf's are out for these devices, you don't want to be phoneless for several weeks, months, years. As of now, there are NO Gingerbread SBF files for Milestone X, yet.

Just to many spam bots and had no time to combat them. Starting something new soon.

cfultz.........knew I would run into you somewhere. I actually found you while trying to find the nTelos SBF for the X. I had confirmed which SBF was the correct version with you through your site messages, but since I don't have access to those messages any longer I was unable to assure myself of the correct version. Small world right. lol.
Sorry to hear that you had to take down the nTelos site. There aren't any for us nTelos folks so I miss it. I hope that we will once again have access to the helpful info that was listed. Please keep in touch, so I will know when you have opened your new site.

I don't know of a SBF for Carolina Wireless but you can use the .604 iso. http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-sbf/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html (the last one) It doesn't touch your radio.
