Well I am kind of new at this, Just rooted my phone today and I put on titanium backup and root explorer. I am looking at possible suggestions, what are some good ROM's and the links to them, and do I need any additional software to install them?, and besides rom's what else can it do? I'm pretty computer savy so if there is a good guide I can follow along pretty easily.

Thanks for the imput.

you need to get droid 2 bootstrap from the market then you can install roms and most importantly make a nandroid backup of ur current system

Ok downloaded the bootstrap, Do I do both the bootstrap recovery and the reboot recovery or just one of them?

You use bootstrap to hijack the recovery... Then you use it to reboot into recovery

There isn't a 605 sbf... It's just a keyboard fix... So no big deal.. Especially if you use a third party app like Swype

Just put on liberty3 on but all of my apps are gone, is there a way to avoid downloading and installing them all over again, also all of my facebook contacts are gone.

Figured it out (titanium backup), but is there a way that all the apps will automatically install instead of having to click "install" for each one?

You would have to purchase the pro version for that.

Yes and then it brings up every app one after another and you have to click install for each one.

And if your talking about Verizon's backup..I lost all my contacts as well for flashing custom ROMS..instead I logged on to verizonwireless.com via PC and accessed my backup assistant contacts and imported them to my PC and than synced them to my Google acct..one less thing to worry about..

I used Titanium Backup, it restored only about 25 of my original contacts of around 50
