I'm sure there has been someone who has asked this already, but I have been searching and have come across an overload of information.

Can someone please give me a quick run down on how to get my phone to Liberty Gingerbread in the safest manner?

F.Y.I.: SBF'ing is no issue for me, I have Liberty Toolbox Pro, and I have Rom Manager.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can just do an sbf to 602 then do the d3 one click root. All the links, videos and info can be found here http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/gingerbread-development-hacking/35634-gb-602-root-start-here-links-all.html then install the newest version of liberty here http://rootzwiki.com/topic/10655-rom-liberty3-v20-for-the-droid-x-1128-sunday-bloody-sunday/ using Droid 2 bootstrap.

An SBF is always the most sure fire way to avoid issues when switching Roms. So if you're fine with doing an SBF, I'd recommend doing it. Then root, install bootstrap, and flash.

Links for SBF and GB Root are in my signature if you don't already have them.
