I'm attempting to download a rom to my phone without the use of a computer I read I needed to use dolphin but even in dolphin the download stops at around 90% and says failed. Any tips? And the rom I'm trying to get is eclipse 1.3rc2

You could try rebooting the phone...it probably has to do with the file size...if it does download just be sure to check the md5 sum before flashing

Its the string of numbers found in the OP of the rom, usually..its a string of numbers and letters...you can grab astro file manager from the market...and then open it, long press on the downloaded file and choose details, it will give you the md5 , match that with the one in the OP, if it matches your golden, if not gotta re-download

Edit. NP on the? We all have them...it's best to download over wifi if you can...better results and faster..

Dolphin HD has been downloading great for me. Another option is Opera browser. It lets you pick the destination folder too.

Dolphin hd has usually worked but on the last update I've had a few fail. I had success with firebox and xscope browsers when Dolph failed.
