I've rooted my .605. What do I do to utilize it? How do I not "ruin my phone" as the rooting program says?

Download Sbf first of all incase u mess up ur phone. I had been flashing roms left and right and on one of those i bricked my phone and thought i was dead! Took me 4 hours to look for a way to fix it. Little did i know it was so damn easy! Lol sbf will save u from brick, bootloop, and if u wanna put it back to stock with no root.

How to utilize root... this basically comes down to what you are comfortable with. All rooting does is give you access to the phones system files and allows you to use more apps that require access to these files. You can look at loading a stock theme for 605 or you can load a custom ROM!!

My advise is too read carefully and ask questions and you will find that it is easy and fun!! Btw, you can't ruin your phone because you can always SBF back to a stock image. Unless you get mad at something and throw your phone, then your on your own!! :)

Check out the link in my signature, it has a bunch of links to ROMs, themes, SBF files, and guides. Enjoy!!

Where can I find this stock sbf file everyone is talking about? And what is the process of flashing this to go completely back to stock if I had the desire or need to?

DX2 Sbf DX2 SBF and RSD Lite 5.3.1 with Drivers (http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/droid-x-2-discussions/8184-dx2-sbf-rsd-lite-5-3-1-drivers.html)

Now, My DX2 came with 2.3.3 out of the box... and then was OTA'd to 2.3.4, will this SBF be the 2.3.3 or be the 2.2?

Want to be sure that I am doing this right...

this might seem silly but I could not find a guide on how to flash this onto my phone.... will the guide to flash the 2.2.2 sbf work to flash the 2.3.3 sbf?

I also seem to have found the newest 2.3.4 sbf http://www.droid-life.com/2011/10/01/droidx2-2-3-4-sbf-released-guess-we-know-what-the-soak-test-is/
