How can Aosp roms like liberty have a working blur camera yet ssx and such can't.

Liberty still has some blur framework I believe, which allows the use of blur elements

Yeah, the trick with Liberty is the use of all AOSP applications to give you the look and feel of an AOSP build. However, without 2nd-init, all DX roms run on top of motorola build. That's why in the latest versions of liberty the liberty customizer allows you to pick either the Blur or AOSP version of almost every system component. The AOSP packages are more flexible and will run in a blurry framework, but blurry packages need the blur framework to run. That's why HD video, HDMI, and a couple other things don't work on CM7 or MIUI.
