1kds has put a 602 sbf in his linux solutions page. From there take the ota to 605 and use the d3 root process if you want root.

Depends what you consider "easy"

Last time I went I SBFed to 340, ran Z4root, and updated with the 2 zips

But now there is the TBH app that will take you from 340 to 605 rooted

Ahh. I hadn't played with TBH app in a while. The last time I tried to use it, I got a bad download and ended up SBF'ing...

Theres a multitude of ways to get where you want to go, you can flash fabs aio apex rc3 that will put you on 602, from there, you can flash a number of 605 roms, including stock rooted 605

My 2 cents: don't take shortcuts. TBH all in one has been reported to have problems. The best way imo is to use wugfresh's subboot executable which uses 1kds's easy sbf immage without having to burn a cd or a flash drive. That will return you to stock 602. You can take the 605 OTA from there and then root with the d3 root method

Yeah, after that experience, it was suggsted to me to always DL the file to my PC and then port to the phone and check the MD5 - or - use Unetbootin from Wugfresh. Unetbootin SBF works great.
