Please help. I'm rooted running Froyo, suddenly my Bluetooth will not turn on. What to do?

The Bluetooth setting on your phone or your Bluetooth device?

Interesting... Perhaps a factory reset is in order. It stinks that you will lose your apps and such, but that could be part of the problem...

Get titanium backup and you won't lose your apps :)

I have TB. So just backup everything and do a factory reset?

Try it, but if it's an app that's affecting you BT then you'll need to add them back one at a time to find the culprit.

Just for fun I went into root tools and used the fix permissions option. For some reason it works now. FYI!

factory reset is not always the best first answer, battery pulls seem to work wonders too!!!(pull battery from phone and then hold power button 30 seconds)

Like rebooting your PC...first thing I always do in troubleshooting.

Didn't pull battery, just fixed permissions in Root Tools. Not sure why I did it or why it fixed it, but it works now! Thanks to everyone for the input.

How do you get into root tools?

Are you rooted and do you have root tools installed?

I am rooted with rom manager, titanium back up, and root explorer installed. When I tried to fix permissions with RM, I get the error message "An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands!"
