View Full Version : Eclipse stuck at boot logo only when plugged in

I just installed Eclipse .6 and now my phone gets stuck at the red M when it boots up when it is plugged in (boots up fine when not plugged in). The big problem is that the bootstrap for the DX2 requires it to be plugged in, so I cannot boot into recovery. Anybody else have this problem and have a solution to offer?

I would just wipe the big three and reflash.

You just need to open system recovery, reinstall recovery and pick charge or recovery mode. It will boot accordingly when plugged in after that.

Flashing a ROM messes with the recoveries hijack, that's why you have to "reinstall".

I open recovery and choose install and then reboot. Tried reinstalling the recovery apk but that didn't do anything. Something is wrong with eclipse in that even when booting normally when it's plugged in it freezes at the red M, so if the phone ever runs out of battery its hard to get it up and running again. Maybe I'll have to try and SBF and then root and then install my backup.

And you only have a problem when plugged in?
