Hi All,

I am currently running Apex 2.0 RC3 and am having 2 issues: 1)My phone sometimes freezes when I wake my phone up from being in idle state, and 2) I still can't get the Wireless Tether to work despite many attempts and also installing Wug's GB Tether Patch...

Unless there are no other suggestions for getting the wi-fi tether to work ,I'd really like to reflash and try again.. but I want to make sure that the built in wi-fi tether does work for Apex 2.0 RC3 before I do so. Can anyone confirm this?

If so, all I need to do to flash is these steps, right? (Wipe data/cache, dalvik cache, install zip)

Also, can anyone explain what .340, .596, .602, .605 mean in a nutshell? I know that .340 is froyo but I'm not sure what the others mean in terms of differences within gingerbread?

Sorry I know this is multiple questions in one thread :omg:

.596 was the first publicly available OTA GB that the dx got then .602 was a radio update for GB (maybe done other little things Idk) and .605 is a keyboard update for GB

root, roms and themes oh my!

Appreciate the response. So the .602 based roms produce the best battery life because of the gingerbread kernal, correct? Can anyone else confirm my other questions? Thanks :big smile:

I'm running the same ROM and have zero problems. After quite a few other girlfriends, APEX rc3 is my bottom bword.
