Is there anyway to root the droid x2? I had the x before and was rooted with z4 root. I just got the droidx2. I appreciate any suggestions

yup.. the one click method works great if it's running gingerbread

If you sbf to Froyo you can use gingerbreak v1.2 then flash p3droids rooted gingerbread. If you want to root gingerbread straight up you'll have to use the D3 root method. Either way you'll need a computer with the proper drivers.
