Not sure where to post this but is there a way to get into an APK and pull out an image for editing? I have a wallpaper app that apparently incorporates the images inside the APK. I would like to be able to mod a couple of them for my own use. Thanks.

Either extract with apkanager or open the apk with 7zip navigate to the drawable hdpi in most likely framework-res and extract them to your desktop

Are you talking about doing this on the phone or a computer? Sorry to sound so dumb but I am a slow learner sometimes. LOL

All from your comp unless you use root explorer or any root file explorer navigate to the theme and then copy the images to your sd or send them to dropbox /email

Ok, I will give it a go. Thanks much!

Update: Thanks again, turns out I didn't need the app, in the process of trying to figure that out I found the images and just built my own wallpapaper with Roxio Photosuite. Posted a pic in the home screen screenshot thread. Not too shabby for an old groundpounder, even if I do say so myself. LOL
