I was wanting to try changing the LCD density to 220, maybe even 200, but no matter how I change it it won't stick after boot.

I'm running gb.596 and have tried blade tools and manually changing the value.

I use jrummy's overclock, changing the density works with that.

Is there more to it than just opening the build prop with antek and using file editor?

I use ES file explorer, I'm not sure how you are editing the build prop with anttek.
Using es file explorer, with root enabled and r/w enabled in settings, go to /system and long press the build.prop file. Select open as, then "text" then select es file text editor, find the ro.sf.lcd_density=240, change too 200, then hit the hard menu button and select save.

It appears to have worked. Thank you, apparently anttek lacked write permission.

I think I like 220 best. Is it normal for some apps to not quite fit the screen right?
