Have been on Apex 2.0 RC2 for a couple months now, love the battery life but its getting old to me and would like a change that keeps good battery life but doesnt take away from the features and blur.

I just started using Apex 2.0 RC2 this past week. I like AOSP, but I do miss a few elements of Blur.....but not many. I'm always on the look out for something new as well.

I would try out one of the new 2nd init roms. ssx 2.0 or liquid.

I'm on liquid 2.4 and love it. Battery last about 14 ish hours with moderate use.

Dripping awesome out of my liquid Dx. Just flying along.

MIUI is amazing, definitely worth trying. It Will have you hooked with all the customization. Plus its extremely smooth

The cm7 based roms have a lot more options and ability to customize the phone. The down side is less battery life, bugs and instability, and no HDMI. I'd go with a blurry rom if good life is your main concern. Zombiestomped is my favorite. Liberty and darkside are great too.

Op, know that all the focus on progress is in the 2nd init world. You can flash between nandroids of any of these so that's where I'd go. CM, MIUI, liquid, justice, omgb...

If you need stability then. 596 roms or froyo roms. But if you want latest w/ exciting customization built in, cm and its derivatives. :)

I'm between cm and miui at the moment. If they start failing me (e.g. the 3g drop) then my rubix focused nandroid will save the day in less than 10 minutes
