I've been wanting to put Cyanogen on my telephone. I recently sbf'd it back to Froyo and then to the pre-rooted version of .596. Can I use cyanogenmod without flashing back to Froyo? e.g., Can I just download cyanogen mod and d2 bootstrapper up -> update.zip? Or do I risk bricking the phone?

CM must be installed from froyo. You'll need to SBF again then install CM.

on the move..

If your on the X2 I don't believe it's available for it yet. The original poster I think is talking about an X1.
