I recently haven't really had time to sit down and customize my phone over again after my previous nandroid trouble, so I'm thinking of going stock for awhile, since 4g is coming soon and I probably have to send this in to upgrade.

My question is, why does it have the liberty boot logo when I turn it on? Do I need to uninstall liberty completely? Ive kept the nandroids in hopes of fixing it one day.

Thanks!

Flash this (http://www.mediafire.com/?3461uzbdkr8tkhd) in clockwork/bootstrap, no wipe. It will restore the stock Moto boot logo.

Or try a factory reset in stock recovery, wiping data and cache.

Nice! Didn't know about that zip...

@sam, you won't need to return your phone when you upgrade...you own it, unless you have some different arrangement.

Yeah, I like that one, the boot image is in a place that a wipe usually doesn't clean up.

O yeah that's right, silly me.

On a side note, you guys know where to find the "Google" boot logo that Fab used in his latest Apex?

Alright thanks guys. I'll flash that when I get home.

Don't you need to send the phone when they change to 4g so they can upgrade it? I didn't think this was 4g capable but im not sure.

The x doesn't have a 4g radio and they wouldn't upgrade us because they would lose money on new 4g phones

Don't worry about 4g for now anyway. It's coverage is spotty. Only 4g near me is a state away.

~PheoniX the Droid X relayed this for me.
