Are you on the OTA or the patched version from p3droid? If you're on the patched version, Liberty works on .596.

Edit: Ninja'd, Thanks Leach.

Is there a way to get it without the donate version of his toolbox?

they will be putting older point releases up on the forums shortly according to one of the team members, but if you want the latest you will need the donate version.they've been working on license checks so if you stumble across cracked or illegitimate versions they aren't gonna work. the donation helps support their work to make it possible, and in the past they have had final versions that are free...

if you don't want to pay you'll just have to wait...

Liberty is quality but i like the stock gingerbread launcher and i hate the color yellow, i would really like rom with the stock launcher like zombie, or one of drewgarens (if there was a way to not have the froyo unlocker on the lock screen that is).

Liberty .6 has the stock GB launcher as an option. As far as the yellow color for the status/connection icons, there are ways around that I believe.

Ninjamorph is the way around the yellow. Im not a fan of it either but love liberty, so the first thing I do after installing a liberty update is changing all the notification icons

Liberty comes with ADW stock, I use Go Launcher in it's place. I also have Bluebread 1.1 as a theme and I'm loving it. I can't stand the yellow either.

Yep, I'm running Liberty 0.6 and just flashed the Watermarked theme to change up the icons, it rocks!

I am having an issue with the "Customization" tutorial on .6 but that's a post for a different thread!

You might want to check the official gingerbread liberty thread in gingerbread rom section. Fezrock usually posts it.
