Ugh. I am running 2.3.3 on my Droid X with .588. Also using Gingerbreak. I was in the process of trying to put Apex on my DX and it all installed correctly. I've tried to reboot three times now and each time it has sat at the Motorola Red "M" for about 15 minutes until I get pissed and pull the battery out. Please assist me, lol.

Go into recovery and do a data/cache wipe first, if that works you won't need to SBF

How do I get to that point though? I've tried every key combination I can think of. I can't remember which one it is.

Hold the home button while powering on
at the android/triangle, push both volume keys at the same time (may need to do this a couple times)

Well, I wiped both the data and the cache, and it's still stuck. What would my next step be?

Try it another time or two and see if you have any success. If nothing, try to get into clockwork recovery using these methods and restore a GB backup if you have one...http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-rescue-squad/15019-boot-into-recovery-power-off-state.html

If not, you'll need to flash the 2.3.340 full sbf. This is the easiest method, unless you already have RSD Lite and the sbf ready to go...SBF Live Disc (http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-hacks/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html)
