Do you mean so that you can install Apex again, or just leave it stock..?

Well I have heard. 595 allows Netflix to work and I have to sbf to get ota anyway correct. Also is it worth my time to do the rooted. 595 or wait.

Fab tweeted that he's figured out the Netflix issue for Nexus S ROMs, and that he's going to look at a fix for the DX tonight...

Just FYI...you may want to give him a chance to fix before you jump to 595...

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. Usually I stay current on these things but all these gb leaks got my head hurting. I too want netflix and it seems 595 is the only way.

Yea, you could wait and see what Fab says if you really like Apex...If you don't care, then go ahead and download the deodexed .595 from MDW here:

New Leak and Official upgrade Path to Gingerbread (http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/droid-x-discussion/7333-new-leak-official-upgrade-path-gingerbread.html#post74655)

Then Gingerbreak if you lost root in the upgrade, then upgrade to Flash 10.3 in the Market and you'll be good to go...

Depends...It worked for me flashing a Liberty .591 backup from .595 before, but others say it doesn't and have to SBF back to Froyo and start over installing GB...

Mike, if I am on the stock rooted 588 currently I can just do a typical clockwork recovery to install this 595, correct? Just making sure I read this right. No SBF?

So once flash does it unroot auto or not all time if does just install gingbreak and hit root just like z4

Yea, no pattern as to who/when you lose root, but Gingerbreak always gets it back...

Ok, been stupid and not been here for a week or so. Can't find an answer, so just a simple question... I'm on 573, what do I need to do to go to 595? Sbf or just a wipe and flash?
Or should I just wait for OTA? Not too worried about root. I'm confident it'll be rooted by some brilliant dev in a heartbeat.

Probably another stupid question, but I just went ahead and bought the TBH app. Will that do everything for me, or does it just download the update? If so, what do I need to do? Just flash the update, or do I need to do a data wipe, sbf?

Where do you find the TBH app?? I can't find it.

Does this mean you did not need the app? How do I get to .588 from stock Froyo? Do you have a link?

I SBF'd back to Froyo. Got a computer running Linux, so I did it on that. So much easier than windows.

The TBH app just gives you direct links to all their releases. And you have to get it from their website. shop.teamblackhat.info I believe.
