so I'm tring to get back in line the latest gb leaks, destination 591, after a horrendous failed apex uninstall...
I was back at froyo stock, rooted and flashed the first gb leak 573, I tried p3droid's deodexed crt & batt mod file over the leak (instead of the suggested 3 file process) and everything goes fine but I'm not sure it updated the baseband. mine's currently BP_C_ 1.09.07P and I think out should be .12P

is it possible to update that without a sbf back to froyo and doing the 3 file process? I've read that flashing the new 591 will not update the baseband as it's the same as the 588 leak, so it's not recommend trying it from the 573... I hope I didn't make it too confusing with all the version#'s

Dunno what you are saying bit I can tell you I flashed the .571 then went straight to .591 then to apex with no problems.

can you check on your phone for me... settings --> about phone and under the baseband version tell me what the number is that you have... BP_C_01.09.07P is mine currently, and this is not what I'm seeing others have posted with the .588 and subsequently what .591 will have as well

I am running Libery GB 0.5 and the versions I get:

System version: 4.5.591
Android: 2.3.3
Baseband: BP_C_0109.12P
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-g0bae333

Thanks jimbo333, I'm assuming you went from the .588 leak to the .591?

I'm gathering all the files for .588 and .591 as I think I'll have to sbf back to froyo and then go through the whole process if I want the updated baseband, I don't think there's any other way. It shouldn't take too long what with all the flashing and reboots and wipes for all the little steps...

I guess I could try as it looks like I'm ready to sbf anyways, just have to keep charging the phone back up after all the dl'ing. Which version of the .591 did you flash? I'll probably be doing the full deodexed...

I'm going to check and see if apex changes the baseband though, and did you flash fab's kernel update going to apex, as it has been stated over on MDW that the .591 should be done over .588 for best results and I saw someone who skipped .588 and is stuck with the older baseband.

well I went a different route than I originally anticipated. got liberty donate... flashed the v.01 for gb, then did v.05 w/kernel... still have the old base band version after that... f@#&!?/$

tomorrow is another day... sbf ~> .588 ~> lib v.01 ~> v.05

then at least I'll be able to clear up some space off the sdcard

maybe gb .666 erl be leaked by then
