but i need some help. ive been reading up a lot on ninjamorph and stuff. what else do i need to know for themeing for a rom. any help, or hints would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

also apkmanager is extremely useful if your going to edit apps to decompile/extract etc.

my god i have so much to learn. lol ive read over the guide, downloaded everything and most of it is "spanish" to me. haha im gunna need some serious hand holding, or ill move on to using others themes :P

Haha don't get overwhelmed. Once you get some if that set up its seamless process..lots of themes have some xml edits (just color usually) so if you know xml itll help if not no biggie really but if you want to learn some here is another link haha http://www.w3.org/

been using Ninjamorph heavily latley. its not to bad once you get the hang of it. i didnt know you could edit colors via xml. every time i open one with a hex edior or xml editor its all mumbo jumbo

yeah if you decompile it in something like apkmanager you can then open it in notepad++ and read xml

gonna give that a shot. that would be much easier than extracting and editing via paint.net each png <.<

when I say colors I mean for things in apps. For instance in the tweetdeck app the background is a greyish brown. you can edit the xml for the background to which ever color you chose.. Individual pngs need to be changed you cant just switch out an xml and then recompile the apk.
