Ok I posted this briefly in someone else's post but decided to post my own to keep from hijacking. So when gb .588 first hit I foolishly jumped on board. I've noticed it didn't update the boot loader. Does this mean I can sbf back to the current official froyo? Any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

I believe sbf is the only way to go back to Froyo

Well I sbf'd from liberty vs restoring a backup to get to gb so I have everything I need. I just wanted to confirm downgrading from .588 to froyo was possible before attempting. Id rather not brick lol

So just to confirm, you download the unrooted .588, and using this method you were able to attain root access and have the superuser icon in your app drawer now? If so, that's great news! Did you let him know it's working on the X?
