Ok so I think im grounded. I only have madercsok sbf zip. Currently running the leaked rooted 4.5.573. So I absolutely have no way in getting the new rooted 4.5.588?

I do not have TBH app unfortunately but if there is a way for me to get to 4.5.588 rooted GB please guide me. Searched the whole forum and came to a conclusion that im dead in the water...

This wont work he has to be on official 2.3.340 firmware before installing patch. DX do you have a pc and a blank cd?

Grab that ISO and get to work sir! Just as easy of a method as mine. As Linux needs no drivers or anything other than what's packed into that download.

Sorry thought since he was already on the leaked ginger he would know how to sbf back. I was just giving him the link to the instructions to go from there. He should make a backup in clockwork so he can restore data when he is done upgrading.

I've seen that method too but I was directed that I can only use TBHs sbf zip since madercsok zip will lock me up. But will try the linux option here soon or else I could get blessed with a TBH app or just their sbf zip lol but its all good. That's why I ask you guys the professionals.

If you're thinking about doing an SBF, see here for an easy utility made by our own 1KDS....

http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-hacks/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html#post267721

in a nutshell: you download the iso file, burn the image to disc, reboot, hit F12 or whatever key your Bios uses so you can boot from the cd, put the phone into bootloader mode, connect it to computer, right click on a file on the Linux desktop and you'll be back to stock Froyo in 7 minutes...Doesn't get any easier than that folks!
