I am running the Rooted GB and I switched to QuickClock Advanced as Droid Overclock would not load the Overclock Module. I am running normally at 1300 and 69 VSEL on my balanced profile and 1390 on high. I just put it on high to run some benchmarks and Was pleasantly surprised to get 2400 in quadrant.

Drocap works for me. And 2000-2200 regularly at 1.35 ULvoltage with DROID overclock on gb. I read something about rummy making a patch to fix some gb bug in that OCer.

I get anywhere from 2130-2250 running back to back benchmarks @ 1.35ghz overlock.

Not sure if there was a thread to related to this, but this seems like an appropriate place. Is there a difference between Quickclock and Droid Overclock? I see many people referencing both, but neither one stands out as a clear winner. I don't really want to purchase both only to use one.

Drocap or ShootMe in the Market, also Droid Overclock has been updated the second day GB was released to support Gingerbread, update it, and it should work. Works for me, and I am on GB.

What kind of battery life are you getting?

Umm.. about 13 hours a day. BUT, lol, I usually keep it at 1.15ULV, only use 1.45 for testing and benchmarks. The phone runs great at 1.45, but not so noticeably faster that I will give up my battery life for it.

A more accurate benchmark type app is Linpack. Quadrant has too many variables. Linpacks should be around 19

Wasn't Linpack more for the Snapdragon processors and not the TI OMAP processors we have in the DX? Thought I head somewhere that it doesn't accurately benchmark the DX processor.

Hmm. Maybe, I haven't heard that. Its more reliable to me since you can run the test several times and get the same score or within a few tenths of it. As opposed to quadrant where you can get numbers spreading over 100s of points.

Yeah, I hear you there, Quadrant is all over the place, fill your RAM with processes, get a lower number, clear them all, your phone is God himself lol.

I think with Linpack, the numbers are always closer together no matter what, so that does indicate a better test for sure... and maybe I pulled that outa my arse about the processors, I swore I saw it on the page for the app itself... not there anymore  now me not sure where I got that info lol.

Im gettin numbers in the 16.8XX's, whats better, higher or lower numbers?

Higher. At about 1.3-1.4ghz you should be in the high 18s to low 19s. Stock speeds should be around 17 depending on what version (2.2 or 2.3) you're on. At 1.4-1.5ghz you should be high 19s to low 20s.

Ok cool, never cared for benchmarkers anyways lol as long as my phone runs and isn't laggy is all I care about lol

speed is dependent on individual processors. Not all can handle the same.

Try downloading linpack and see really if your phone is fast k? The scores are more consistent and believable.
