Looks like CNN (and other big media companies) are finally taking note of the Droid X. CNN Money did a big article on the Droid being the 'new Android champ'. It looks to be based on the original Anandtech writeup but you can check out the full review here:

I can hear the sound of thousands of Evo and DINC owners grinding their teeth...

Funny enough, about a year ago, i read a news article that said Motorola would be getting out of the cellphone business. Talk about a Balboa-esque come-back!

I had actually heard that motorla thing too. That was one reason i decided not to get the original droid. I figured they wouldn't care enough about it to make it awesome if they we're jumping ship. I guess they changed their minds. Lol

Article is good, but I think the writer must use an iPhone. He just has that Elitist feel to him. It could be he is writing for CNN, but I'll stick with my gut.

Despite some of its minor shortcomings dx has proven in my mind to be the best available droid phone. What I want to know is how long it will be top dog.

With how fast the tech is moving and how fast new devices will be the only way the dx can keep up in my mind is software wise. If the kinks in blur can be fixed and streamlined then it could be as long lasting as moto's first droid, which up until the X was I think the best overall phone available.

That article was not written by CNN.. It was a shortened version of this Anandtech (http://www.anandtech.com/show/3826/motorola-droid-x-thoroughly-reviewed) article.. I don't believe even one sentence from that CNN article was original.
