Does anyone know how to replace that Verizon Wireless banner on the lock screen so i can make it say something like "BraddahBoi808's DroidX".??

are you using a custom rom? liberty 1.5 has that built in. not so sure how to without liberty (I'm sure its possible i just don't know how)

Also, if you run the liberty ROM it has the option to do it within the Liberty Toolbox

sephtin's custom theme site also allows you to input a custom banner as well...

That sephtin site looks pretty cool. But do you know if there's a way to do it so that i don't need a new ROM or anything.? I really don't wanna mess up my phone big time and all so yeah.. Oh and if this helps, my X is rooted running Android 2.2.1

use the link in my sig (same link that was posted above) it uses whatever file is on your phone

The method I posted doesn't need a custom ROM, it is however an major system change that requires making a backup with bootstrap first
