i saw this post
[Bootscreen] Halo Reach Android Edition (Finally) - xda-developers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=940780)

and it said "This is for roms where the bootanimation resides in /system/customize/resource and has the audio."

anyone know if there is any droid x rom that is able to use sound for a boot animation?

I'm running liberty and i have tried the HTC thunderbolt with sound, but the sound did not work

I've changed to a boot animation with sound on a stock ROM, but the audio for stock isn't in that file. The one I used is no longer available because it was causing some people DXs to bootloop. I kinda wish I could have it again since when I updated my phone it went back to stock

could you include what rom / storage place you have the boot animation located at?
