Can the Droidx be used as a voice recorder? If so, how? Thanks

Try an app called Tape Machine or another called Sound Recorder

I use one called Voice Recorder. The logo has the Gmail logo on it. You can send the recordings via email in an attacment, if you want.

There is actually a voice recorder app that comes stock on the DX. It's kinda hidden, you have to go into a text message conversation and hit the option key==>insert (has a little paperclip on it)==>Record Audio. This will bring up the DX stock voice recorder app, which will save whatever you record to your sd card. It also drops the recording into a "my recordings" playlist in your stock music app. This method isn't as direct as using a recorder app from the market, but it works. It's also a cool way to leave people a voice message without having to call them or leave a voicemail.

Wow, that seems terribly difficult to use. I wonder what possessed them to do it that way
