Will the DX sync/play iTunes playlists? The reason I ask is I have a podcast playlist I sync to my iTouch and subsequently play while I work so I don't have to keep fussing with the iPod while driving.

Thanks.

Ps I run Macs at home!

give iSyncr for Mac a try. I use iSyncr on the PC and it rocks. Brings over playlists and all.

I use iSyncer to sync my iTunes with my X. Not sure if podcasts will sync, but im pretty sure they will.

I downloaded doubletwist and it seems to work with my p.o.s. bb. I'll download iSyncr and try it, as well. Thanks! Can't wait for my DX!!!

Double Twist sucks in my opinion.. I wish it didn't but it not a stable desktop application if you have a large music collection. iSyncr is the best solution if you have a mac or are attached to iTunes, however if you have a PC you should check out media monkey.. it allows syncing with android devices and you can configure it + skin it to look and feel exactly like itunes... plus it only runs one background process vs. iTunes four.

Does I-Syncr interface well with I-Tunes...

You make a playlist.. like "DroidX" and it will sync all tracks to your phone.. its really not that great.. but its the best option... there are no other apps that can do what iSyncr does or better.

That's why if you have a pc I strongly recommend MediaMonkey because it offers superior syncing capabilities.

iSyncr might honestly be a monopoly regarding itunes android syncing functionality.

You could always just drag and drop onto the sdcard... but that's not syncing I know.

Hey Wug I have Monkey media etc installed, pretty bad ass thanks for the headsup (still trying to figure it out lol). What player are you using on your phone? Will it sync the playlists I make on Monkey? Also I sent you a PM about the bit rate conversion for Soundtaxi 220 or 320 conversion rate?

Thanks man,
Jamie

To all who are calling it Monkey media.. its MediaMonkey.. sorry I know it doesn't matter but its getting to me lol.

Here's instructions for syncing it with the palm pre... you can just do the same thing but when you connect your device mount it as mass storage (I think... I dont have my computer in front of me.. you may have to try a different mode:
http://forums.precentral.net/webos-synergy-synchronization/231036-ultimate-guide-syncing-music-playlists-using-mediamonkey.html#post2228391

I use PlayerPro but you can use whatever music player you like. If you set it up right it will sync playlists.

Umm... bit rate conversion, leads me to believe that means how many bytes are being converted per seccond or per millisecond.

So a slower bit rate conversion (lower #) would translate into higher audio quality vs a faster bit rate conversion (higher #).

No problen. Yeah its the only other media program I found that can handle large music collections as well as iTunes. If you want to make it even better you should check out Gforce, its one of the best audio driven visualization programs and can work with MediaMonkey.
