I was wondering what were others settings for one of these apps. For performance and bettery life. I have set mine as follows
Performance 1350 at med volt avg quadrant 1745
Best battery 1150 at med volt avg quadrant 1605
Both seem stable but all I did was watch a few utube vids nd play angry birds, niether froze up or lagged any. I used setCPU stress test on both, it just ran forever so I stopped the tests after 15mins no errors.. So I am now workin on a profile, would anyone like to share profiles? I will post mine in a minute. Thankks

careful on the profiles, they caused a few reboots for me. I got rid of them. It takes about 5 seconds to open the setCPU widget and slide the max down a few steps to save on battery or if it heats up too much. just my opinion.

When set on 1125 low volt
75 temp>39 700/400
72 screenOff 400/400
70 temp>37700/400
60 battery<30%700/400
50 battery<50%850/400
40 battery<75%900/400
25 charging,full 1125/400

Then at 1250
75 temp>39 850/400
73screenOff 400/400
70 temp>37 1000/400
60 battery<30% 850/400
50 battery<50% 1000/400
40 battery<75% 1250/400
25 charging/full 1250/400

This is all I have as profiles I have used. I havent been able to really test these to know exaxtly how each effects the battery life. I will have tonite set for the 1125 profile. I have been steady using it for about 2hrss and im at 80% battery, doesnt seem that impressive to me so far. I hope this thread thrives and I can learn more from what others are using. I am pretty new to android so its a learn as I go deal. Thanks to koush, jrummy, for some kicka$$ apps and the rescue squad for all the support I have recieved. There are others but the list is to long so thanks to all of you. What I have done so far to my phone is,Z4root, DXbootstrap, Titanium pro, Quandrant(debating on upgrading), jrummysOC, setCPU, and Rubix 1.8.6

since buying jrummyOC I use it for OC and setcpu just for the stress test, and really dont understand what it is testing anyways. But I do NOT SET TO BOOT, I dont plan on doing that for a while at least till I find that perfect medium that just seems perfect.

Is there any problem in NEVER setting it to boot? I'm a creature of habit and I don't mind re-setting it each time I need to. The benefit is I'll never have bootlooping issues from setting it to boot. Is the only benefit of setting it to boot the convenience of not having to re-do it?

Pretty much

The idea of this tread was to see what setting peole were using when overclocking, I was just saying that I have set to boot yet, I didnt mean to never do it. I was just wondering how others were using these two apps

I mean I have not set to boot yet. What I have posted above is what has worked for me, I am wondering what others are doing for the profiles so I can get an idea of something else for me to try and for others

Got mine set at medium voltage, and 1.2ghz, with rubiX 1.9.0 ROM. I benchmarked it this morning at 1603. At 1.25ghz and low voltage, I hit 1744. I like keeping it a little more conservative, so it stays at 1.2 medium voltage.

Has anyone tried messing with the Advanced settings poriton of SetCPU? I have my up threshold set to 80% and my Powersave Bias is 350. I have seen significant improvement in my battery life with these settings (among others). Here is a description of what all of the settings do: SetCPU for Root Users (http://www.pokedev.com/setcpu/)
