This is the first time over clocking. With rubix1.8.6 I scored 1398 with Milestone saying 1000 mhz min volt at 56, 1000 mhz 66vsel. I then used Milestone and moved up to 1150mhz 70min volt 70vsel and scored 1623. Everything is working fine. Should I leave things the way they are? I understand that jrummy has an app that does the same thing, or more. I want the speed but also the battery life. If I am not headed in the right direction please tell me.

you know what they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
Those seem to be good scores. So if you you're satisfied with the performance and battery life then keep it.
You can probably even go higher clockspeeds than that but increase them little by little and then test.

Yea I am going to keep it were it is for now. I just read about Milestone a while back and figured I would give it a try. If I can do better buying an app like jrummy I would, but this is free ya know. Or even koush DXD2 Overclock app, I do like koush Dx bootstrap, real user friendly. Is one of those overclocking apps user friendly or dummyfiied?

jrummys app is pretty straight forward and very user friendly, I havent tried any others tho...

regarding Milestone, you can't go wrong with a free app that does what it's supposed to

I've had Rubix and Apex installed at one point or another but reverted back
right now I'm on stock Froyo OTA with all bloatware frozen and then some.... lol
Nextheme, OC'd at 1.2Ghz w/ultra low voltage settings
My phone flies on stock rom and getting GREAT battery life.
I wanted a balance of stability and performance I felt I that stock was better for me at least.
I had several issues with the roms I've mentioned, maybe I'm just too impatient lol

so yeah I can't complain with my current setup.
Go with whatever works best for you.

For jrummys app you can mess around with voltage more. Lowering voltage eases the amount put on your battery. The lower the voltage the better the battery life. I'm currently oced at 1.35ghz on ultra low voltage which is 76vsel with a min of 400mhz at 36vsel. All phones are different but if you can lower the voltage and save battery try it.

Yes sir. Find a good speed then lower the volts. Exactly how it should be done.
