If anyone needs this let me know. I've seen quite a few people asking for it. I'm glad I picked it up when I saw it because I had to use it yesterday. I'll be uploading it to my Dropbox in about five minutes.

EDIT: please just PM jmims for the SBF file. no posting of the link is allowed here due to forums policy.

EDIT 2: full 2.3.32 sbf here over at mydroidworld
http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/droid-x-discussion/5633-droid-x-2-3-32-full-sbf.html

I'm a little new to the Droid X and we didn't have sbf's on my old phone. Can comeone clear this up for me - the numbers associated with the sbf are the "Android Version" or the "Kernel Version"? For example, I just flashed Rubix Blury 1.5.2. Android version 2.2.1, kernel version 2.6.32.9. I don't currently need to sbf but if I did, which sbf would I need (since using the wrong one will brick my phone)?

What's the difference between 2.2 & 2.2.1? Does it run faster? Look different?

Droid-Xer

It's suppose to fix a few of the bugs from 2.2 and run faster. I prefer to wait for the official OTA rather than flash the leak.

dont update until there is an sbf file for it. I updated to this rom and then went back to 2.2 and had problems and now the 2.2 wont work due to the bootloader being stuck at 30.04. I hope someome releases and sbf file soon because I am sure I am not the only person stuck.

There is no full 2.3.340 sbf if you need to full sbf use the .320 then use the TBH .340 sys only sbf then boom stock .340

EDIT: i would try the sys only sbf for 340 if you already took the ota. U can find it over at MDW

Hey guys,

I've been looking around the forums for awhile now, and I can't seem to find a straight answer. Right now I'm on the original OTA 2.2 update. (System Version 2.3.15)

I wanted to try to instal Apex 1.3, which requires either the Team Black Hat leak or the 2.2.1 OTA upgrade from Verizon.

In the past, while messing around with Rubix, I have royally screwed up my phone, and had to do several SBFs.

If I do the 2.2.1 OTA upgrade, is there an SBF if I brick my phone and can't get past the M screen? If not, should I instal the Team Black Hat update and stick with them? I think there's an SBF for them. . .

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for merging this, Abe21599. I guess I'm just worried about upgrading, since I can't go back. :-P

So, there's only a system sbf for the OTA? How is that different from a full sbf?

only repairs the /system location. but the .32 is a full 2.2.1 sbf for the 30.04 bootloader so its recoverable :)

Hello Everyone! This is my first post and i am very much a newb when it comes to smart-phones. I am also very glad to now be a part of this forum, especially after all the help i have gotten from everyone's posts. I have been having some major issues with my phone. I originally had flashed the phone to apex 1.3 and was loving it. I decided i wanted to try out tranquility 3.6. So i followed the instructions to flash tranquility, but i was trying to do it at work and unfortunately did not wipe data/cache when i did it the first time. I immediately realized and went ahead and did the whole install again, this time making sure I wiped data and cache. He are some of the problems that i have run into. The phone will not boot on its own. I get stuck at the tranquility bootloader screen and can only start the phone when it is first plugged into my computer. Next issue is that whenever i try to download and app from the market it does download and then when it goes to install, the phone reboots itself. After it reboots the apps that are supposed to install are just stuck in the market at install and nothing happens. If i try and install the apk file from the sd the phone reboots. My phone will also say that i have e-mail, so when i click on e-mail it says i need to register an account, but i already have an e-mail account registered under accounts and it tells me i am receiving them. If i click on the e-mails from the notification bar it clears and nothing happens. I understand that the best thing for me to do is to re-flash the phone back to its most recent stock version using rsd lite and then re-install the rom. I pretty much understand the concept and how to do it. The only thing i am really confused is which files i need to do this. I see that the sbf back to 2.2.1 is system only and i am a little confused on what that means. I guess my question is, do i need to get other files other than that 2.2.1 sbf system file in order to get everything back up and running correctly? I originally backed everything up with titanium backup, rom manager, and by doing a nandroid backup through clockwork recovery. When i try to boot in recovery mode and install my backup through the update.zip it does not work. If this is already on here somewhere i apologize for a repeat post. This is currently my stats on my phone:

30.04 bootloader

System Version
2.3.340.MB810

Android
2.2.1

Baseband
BP_C_01.09.07p

Kernel
2.32.9-g55626e1
w30471@il93lnxdroid08 #1

Build
Tranquility 3.6.0

Any help would be much appreciated, I love this phone and just want to get it back up and running the way it should be. If i need to clarify anything please let me know, I am still trying to get the correct terminology down. I thank you all for your help.

-Chris

I had crazy rebooting problems on tranquility which lead me to a bootloop. I had to boot to STOCK recovery, wipe data/cache, and reboot. It was very buggy when it rebooted so I installed bootstrap, booted to custom recovery, wiped data/cache, flashed rom again, and rebooted. Still having problems, I flashed the rom once more with no wipes and its run flawlessly since.

I ran into the same issue with tranquility 3.6, and I HAD wiped data and cache before the install. I wiped data and cache again after running into the reboot issue when installing apps, which solved it for me. I immediately installed Bootstrapper, booted into recovery, and restored a backup, then subsequently deleted anything pertaining to that ROM.
