I recently received my droid X yesterday and loving it!

I am having an issue though. Today I decided to upload some movies into it but I am having a sound issue when I play them back.

Background info:

- all are AVI files
- I am not syncing, I am copying and pasting into the correct folder = vmm_video (something like that)
- Droid X stock operating, 2.2 android. I have no hacks or mods
- All files are roughly 700mb courtesy of Axxo

So the Issue:

During playback, the sound is off from the video by maybe a second or 2. This is quite annoying!

Any ideas?

First of all, congratulations on your new Device!

AVI files are not natively supported by the Droid X. Although certain players support AVI files, you will get the best results with MP4 files. A lot of audio sync issues result from the audio container. I have had best results with AAC containers for audio with no sync issues.

I made a thread about converting video files for optimal playback on the Droid X which can be found Here (http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-audio-video/9760-encoding-mkv-files-droid-x-playback.html)
