So obviously alot of people have used Jrummys Overclock... but im having some problems. When i load it i click "ultra low voltage" then pick a speed, an it highlights red and then just locks up, i can go "home" but nothing changes. When i try to update SetCPU it still only comes up with 1000max.. not 1.45 or any of that. I have tried several reboots and nothing changes.

If i leave the overclock up long enough it will finally go to the "not responding... Force close?" option

I have tried ultra low voltage.. low... medium... and all diff speeds... nothing changes

Rooted 2.2 OTA

psychotic_penguin is right however, i have been watching the DEV and the market comments for this app all day and evening, and theres alot of peeps having issues, but the DEV is keeping in constant communication looking for feedback so he can correct this. just needs more time...we will be OC'd soon.

New problem with JRummy Droid X overclock: In extras, miscellaneous, reboot options, I've been trying to do a bootstrap recovery. However, everytime I click on it, I get an error reading, "Major problem occured, please try again!" I've been trying over and over again with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

Anyone also get problems with you tube, pandora, slacker and navigation not working?

I have a strange problem with the app. When I change the lcd density to anything other than stock the phone will not work. When I click on the phone it just starts to open then closes. No error messages or anything. I tried to fix permissions, and various settings for LCD density but nothing other than stock settings works.
Anyone else see this?

Did you ever find a fix for the "major problem occurred" issue? I'm having the same issue when changing the settings on many of the extras. I've been in contact with the dev, he's been willing to help and we've tried many things but we've not been able to find a solution. It was last left with me sending the files that package installed on my x a few weeks ago and have yet to hear anything back since. Kinda frustrating but I'm pretty sure I'm in the extreme minority with this issue and he has better things to do. Let me know what you came up with if anything. It would greatly be appreciated.

Jrummy is pushing out an update soon, the problem may be fixed in the update.

Are you referring to the 2.1.5 update? That has been applied and issue is still present. My frustration is growing but I'm not 100% convinced it is an issue with the overclock app, it could be jacked up permissions elsewhere that the app isn't handling very well. Just wish I was so much of noon and knew more about debugging. The error message is less than helpful and that is really all I have to go off of. Logcats aren't showing much that mean anything to me. Actually thinking about wiping the X to start fresh but I'm also thinking the issue could be fixed easily enough that I shouldn't have to go there.

i really like all Jrummys apps but this one is just not working for me on the past 2 droid x that i have had evertime i apply the OC the back on the bottom of my droid X always gets hot and the temp on my battery has gotten as high as 39% i dont know much about the OC thing but i know thats not good untill i can get a good prospective on what im doing wrong im gonna just leave this alone if anyone knows of something that can help it would be apprecatied .

I set the boot on High Voltage 1250Mhz at boot

High voltage is your problem. Use low or ultra low.
