I see all the news for Droid X overclocking and someone got to 2, 2.5, and 3 GHz but no one tells you their vsel values... So here is were we can all share what we have and how we got there on our devices. What's your settings?

I got mine up to 1.45 GHz @76 and worked for a while but ended up freezing up. I can get 1.4 GHz @74 to run for quite a while but it will freeze up like 15 to 30 minutes later, but damn was it fast.

My other custom clock speeds pretty much stay at:

400000000 @ 27

700000000 @ 38

900000000 @ 50

What about your quadrant and linpack scores too?

There's already a thread for this in the hacks forum.

I do not see a thread asking for everyone's setting or to post that info along with your quadrant or linpack scores. I did search before I posted and I searched again just now to double check. I don't see anything like this post, so if you would like to post the link on here and show me then do so...

I would assume people would post their stable values and benchmarks in the main thread that it got announced in, but that's just me not wanting more wasted bandwidth on forums in general.

Using JRummy's app, I'm on ultra low voltage, and 1ghz. Super stable and my battery life is unbelievable.

Running Focused 1.0, which also makes a huge difference.

Haven't been on the forum much in the last month or two...but I don't think I believe anyone hitting 2ghz, let alone 2.5 or 3. :P

Well I worked on it a lot more and I did get my phone up to the 3.0 GHz that eveyone has been drooling over! I got it up to that but it was turtling but got the snap shot! lol

Read it and weap!

I saw that and it's not exactly what I wanted so I posted this here so i could see the voltage values as well as the clock speed because everyone posts the clock speed but not the volt values

I agree this thread is more useful than the other to help figure out what is possible for a undervolt or overclock.

I'm using Unstable Apps's app.
I think I will only OC when needed otherwise, I'm just going to undervolt maybe even underclock to save power. Since you can change clock speed with out rebooting, I can up the frequency any time I want.

Mine is set at 1.2 Ghz@ 64vsel and it's very stable. Anything above 1.2 goes in to "turtlemode" and anything lower than 64 vsel will freeze up Angry Birds :) Highest quadrant was at 1707 and linpack at 16.96.

Other settings are:

300000000 @ 27

600000000 @ 38

900000000 @ 49

*shrug* If you managed it then that's awesome! ...but
I still don't believe that you managed a full, functional, three times the stock clock without the phone sitting in a pile of dry ice. Plus the fact that it turtled means that your 3ghz was running worse than if I set my phone to run no higher than 500mhz. Totally not trying to take a dump on your parade, I'm just in the position where I either don't believe the number or I'm dumbfounded that you managed it. What was the vsel set at?

What does 64 vsel mean

Using jrummys app im at ultra low voltage and 1.35ghz. Anything higher and I get FCs. Quadrant is at about 1700 and linpack avg in the high 18s low 19s. I actually would have the highest linpack for the x but I used beesleys 1.38ghz OC mod and it put the mflops under the droid2. I got a 22+. Im epTX under the droid2 list. That mid was very stable but the voltage was high and ate up alot of battery.

Lol I don't blame you for being skeptical but it is true I got this setting to limp its way to get the snap shot. Like I said it turtuled the whole time which mean exactly what you were saying about how 500 MHz would run better and I agree... this ways just a see if I could get to what the news and hype was about. So no I don't actually run this lol... The vsel value was set at 93! If you read any warnings about this then you know that you probly shouldn't (lol) go over 96 vsel. So according to your post you must just be dumbfounded
