Market fix did not fix error

First off, thank you Fab for a great and polished ROM. I am having one issue though. I was getting "an error has occurred" from the Market app when I clicked on the purchase button from paid apps. After realizing that I didn't install Dark Market, I went ahead and flashed it in recovery and I'm still receiving the same error from Dark Market.

Anyone else having this problem? Have I missed something?

There are new instructions for the market fix, I assume you have just applied the Dark Market and thats it. You have to then go to the droidforum site and get the new version of the market and flash it then flash dark market again. Instructions are also on the second post of Apex RC 3 forum. It worked perfect for me.

ok guys,fix for market problem:
i had issues to. try this that worked for me. install the dark market zip fab supplied. then after you reboot goto http://www.droid-life.com/2011/08/23...-for-purchases and install the apk from there. then goto settings/applications/manage applications/all/market click force stop then uninstall updates. now reboot to CWR and install the dark market zip again. reboot and try to purchase an app.

Thanks for this. I'm late to the ApeX_RC3_MarketFix.zip scene and was having trouble finding the solution in the original thread. Worked perfectly. Really appreciate it.

Worked flawlessly! Thank you! Just as an observation, I received a popup saying uninstall failed when uninstalling the market update. But who cares! It all worked in the end.

I got the same message, on my second attempt to uninstall updates, I got the message saying it was successful!

Didn't want to make a new thread for pretty much the same issue, but i went ahead and did the fix and had no problem getting the paid app so that much was good. But today i try and download a simple thing as netflix (free app) and it won't get past "downloading..." i tried with a bunch of other free apps as well, on wifi and on 3g and nothing was working, so i was wondering if anyone else had this issue or knows whats goin on?

yep battery pull and all, im just gunna restore it before i did the dark market fix try it again n see if that works
